รีโนเวท Renovated Silom Boutique Hotel

Silom small hotel renovation building design project transformed an existing 5-story shophouse into a modern small hotel under the guidance of the W.O.N Architect team, who served as both designer architects and managed the project’s construction. This renovation included two significant changes:

1 The relocation of the main staircase from its previous corner position to the center of the building, resulting in a more efficient use of space. Additionally, an elevator (passenger lift) was installed to enhance the comfort of hostel customers and facilitate the ease of carrying their luggage.

2 The expansion of the wastewater treatment plant, necessitating a stronger foundation at the ground floor level.

– Emphasize the importance of evaluating the survey’s cost and timing.
– Consider both design and cost aspects, with an ongoing focus on reducing costs through iterative improvements.
– Engage in negotiations with potential contractors regarding timeframes and preliminary costs, and explore opportunities for process optimization by leveraging existing resources and knowledge.
– Ensure diligent oversight of the contractor’s work to prevent the need for redoing tasks. Begin the process from the top and work your way down, starting from the inner components and progressing to the outer elements, including MEP lining, before proceeding to commission testing. This precautionary approach helps avoid disruptions to the high-quality interior finishing due to unresolved water flow issues, making it a vital factor in the success of renovation projects.
